Squirrels always have been, and always will be, Evil. Capitalized Evil. Right up there with chipmunks.

Many college campuses have squirrels that have grown very, VERY comfortable approaching humans. On my first visit to Notre Dame, I was very unnerved when a squirrel got within a foot of me. Foolish squirrel! That is my personal space.
