    I don’t quite get it.

Normally, things evolve upwards, but that is absolutely not the case here.

    • Exhibit A is Darth Vader, the high point of Star Wars.
    • Exhibit B is a promotional trailer for Phantom Menace that actually made the movie look pretty cool.
    • C is Jar-Jar Binks, which I foolishly assumed had to be the low point of the series.
    • D is a screenshot of the animation from the new Star Wars movie, which looks like something I could get done for $2 or $3 an hour from a Malaysian junior high student.
    • Finally, E is a picture of some of the new Star Wars merchandise. I think the character’s name is Stinky.

Well, the clone wars cartoon actually turned out pretty good. I think the style looks good.

So, B.Mac, watch the cartoon series, and see what you think. The art style does get better.

all of the following is in half-joking mode: any way this doesn’t make any sense.

1.things don’t evolve upwards in real life, they just adapt and change to the current environment.

    2. most things, like phantom menace poster, the clone wars and jar jar are from the prequels, so they are obviously going back in time.

“things don’t evolve upwards in real life, they just adapt and change to the current environment.” (Tending) upwards in survivability?

I guess so. But in that way, george lucas, or star wars at least, proves evolution, by enduring through many forms (books, tv shows, comics, video games and movies, of course) for several decades
