An insightful contrast between Kingdom Hearts and Resident Evil
This is old, but classic. However, because of profanity, it probably isn’t safe for work. Unless, of course, your workplace is awesome.

One minor observation about Kingdom Hearts for the DS. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game with so much text and so little story. The characters are one-dimensional at best and, frankly, I don’t think the main character even got that far. For example, these characters are supposed to be secret agents or something working for a shadowy organization, right? They really can have more interesting interactions than, umm, sharing ice cream after more or less every mission. I downgraded the writing from a D to an F after the main character asked “Who am I?” Having the character ask about his identity doesn’t do much to hide his total lack of character development before, during and after his identity crisis.
And the action leaned heavily towards monotonous button-mashing.
I liked the inventory/leveling system, though. And the cutscenes were graphically very impressive, especially for a hand-held device. Generally the graphics looked like a N64 played on a small screen, but the cutscenes looked as good or better than anything I saw on the Gamecube.
Cool. Love it!!!
