TSA, umm, what.

Published by at 2:53 pm under Comedy

The TSA purportedly confiscated a pair of nail-clippers from a soldier on a military charter where some 230 soldiers were carrying (unloaded) rifles, pistols and machine guns, because the nail-clippers could be used as a weapon.  Apparently the TSA is the only thing standing between the world’s unluckiest terrorist and a surefire Darwin Award.

This reminds me of The Boondocks’ (highly profane) trailer for Soul Plane 2…

The mayhem begins at 1:53.

I had a set of nail clippers confiscated from my check luggage once, since the TSA apparently thought I was going to get into the cargo hold of the plane, acquire my nail clippers, and hijack the plane somehow. Is it even possible to get into a passenger plane’s cargo hold while it’s airborne? I thought the only access to those was from the outside.

“All right Air Marshall, I’m taking over this plane and if anyone tries to stop me, I’m going to start yanking hangnails!”

I don’t think the cargo hold is accessible to passengers. If I’ve learned anything from Snakes on a Plane, it’s that. Well, besides “do whatever Samuel L. Jackson says if you want to live” and “don’t be the nameless white cop,” of course.

What are they going to ban next, Harry Potter books (Specifically numbers 4,5, and 7)? ‘Cause those could cause damage… 😛

You don’t need the books to cast an Unforgivable Curse!

To avoid a trip through the porn machine, Congressman Chaffetz tried some Defense Against the Dark Arts but came up short. If Chaffetz had been a Senator, he might have learned some Dark Arts tricks from Byrd, who studied under some Grand Wizards back in the day…
