Dead to the World
The Chase
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon
Dead as a Doornail
Small Town Christmas
The Hollow
Santa Fe Dead
All Together Dead
The Outlaw Demon Wails

A Stone Creek Christmas

Observations
One-word titles are very rare among the bestsellers. Excluding the word “the,” only four titles had just one word (The Appeal, The Chase, The Hollow and The Road).

None of the titles used a character name.

None of the titles used any fictional words.

Many of the titles relied on the element of danger. (Kill Zone, Foul Play, the eight titles with the word “dead,” etc).

Very few of these titles are head-scratchers.
