Could you do me a favor and fill out a reader survey? It has eight questions, all of which could fairly be described as hilarious and exciting*.  Your responses could help me get published.  Thanks!

    Interestign results.

” 9% are 41+” this contradicts what some people say about the website, that is mostly full of older guys.

“…this contradicts what some people say about the website, that is mostly full of older guys.” You’re not the first person to mention that people have reached that conclusion. I wonder what sort of writing advice they’d actually want? (hai im bmac welcum 2 my writing sight)

Also, I didn’t have this up before, but the gender split is 43%-57% female-male. That strikes me as a pretty even split for a superhero-themed website.

Maybe thats actually what they want.

” Also, I didn’t have this up before, but the gender split is 43%-57% female-male. That strikes me as a pretty even split for a superhero-themed website.”

That is quite surprising, i would never have guessed.

Huh. Usually writing sites have mostly women; and usually superhero sites have mostly guys, so I’m not surprised it came out 43-57 here, but it’s pretty even for sure which is rare these days. I like that.

“Usually writing sites have mostly women…” I have noticed that. Besides comic books and graphic novels, fiction-writing tilts pretty heavily towards the ladies. (I think non-fiction authors tend to be men*).

*I have no idea whether bestselling authors are demographically similar to authors as a whole, but there are 38 different authors credited for the top 35 nonfiction works on the NYT Bestsellers List right now. Of those, 8 are women and 30 (79%) are men.

    What about ages under 13?
    Because i’m 11…..

Hmm, at the time I was reporting my results, I didn’t have any respondents younger than 13. In my next set of results, I’ll change it from 13-18 to 11-18.
