It introduces its main character, setting and premise in an interesting way. It's MUCH more readable than blocks of narration. Quite amusing. You know you can read several first issues of different comics in Images' site--that's were I originally read it as I researched how 1st issues went about (though this comic wasn't much help for a superhero story, I don't think).
