I like the way he did the scales, and his smooth coloring style more than Emily's, but her color choice and the way she shaded were better.
But I'm glad you picked Emily, I feel that her style would fit better on this comic.

I do think that I like Emily's better. This one does have its fine points, though. I like the coloring of the walls and chairs better in this one than the pastel-y colors of the other. And while tan is not what you were going for, he did do well with the skin tones. All over, though, I say Emily was much better. good choice.

Mind you, I've already chosen Emily as the colorer, but I just wanted people to see one of the other colorers I was considering.
--I was perturbed by the trenchcoat's color. Right now, it looks more like something Emma Frost would wear than a wannabe Neo.
--Most of this looks professional, I think. In particular, I liked the human's suit, hair and skin. I REALLY like how the human turned out in panel 1.
--I didn't make this clear, but I was anticipating that the human would be pasty-white to emphasize that he's more of an officeworker than an outdoorsy type. Right now, he looks really tan. That's a bit of a problem for me because tans are associated with physical fitness and exoticness. Neither apply to this character. Please learn from my mistake! Unless you specify a detail to your artist (like the shade of skin you want), you cannot expect to see it.
--There's a white halo around the human in panel 3.
--I would have liked the color of the wall to blend in less with the human's skin tone. Right now, he sort of disappears into the background, particularly in panels 3, 5, 6 and 7.
--The reptile had some problems. The shading on the scales seemed a bit weak, and the pinkish eye clashed pretty badly with his green scales. In contrast, Emily aced the reptile.
