Do you have to suffer for art? Well, I have clearly suffered for this book. Damn, if you think college is hard, try surviving From Baghdad With Love.

So, yeah, because we had a writing team, our fearless leader thought that it be easier to establish a common style if we read a few of the same books. I think that worked out pretty well, but to be honest, there was a lot of reading. We did 10 books and we could have gotten the same benefit out of 3-5 books. (I’d also recommend getting each writer to do around the same amount of writing. I’m only writing like 5% of the book, really just the passages with Paingod… there’s only like 3 of them, but they are sweet).

Anyway, everyone on the team picked two books; one serious and one whimsical…
