CNN reports:

Recent polls show black women are expected to make up more than a third of all Democratic voters in South Carolina’s primary in five days.

For these women, a unique, and most unexpected dilemma, presents itself: Should they vote their race, or should they vote their gender?

No other voting bloc in the country faces this choice.

Well, actually, white males have the choice to vote for a white (Clinton) or a man (Obama). However, I hope that no one (white, male or otherwise) sees his vote as a vote for a gender or a race. And I have no doubt that CNN would appreciate that a white that voted for a candidate because he was white is a racist. What a “choice.”

There is, however, good news.  “…most women here say they plan to vote based on the issues. They rank health care, education and the economy in order of importance.”  Unfortunately, that got buried towards the bottom of the article because apparently CNN told its journalist to get something juicy about racial and gender conflict.  Sigh.
